From 18 May – 2 June 2019 ARTWEY CIC will be running their biannual art trail OPEN FOR ART.
Artwey has moved from its home territory and ventured further afield to include Dorchester, Poundbury, Weymouth and Portland and opened up to non-members. This has resulted in making it Artwey’s biggest Open Studios to date with over 80 artists and more than 40 venues taking part showcasing local artists’ work including painting, pottery, printmaking, sculpture, textiles and jewellery.
Venues range from Individual Artist studios to joint exhibitions in Garden Centres, historic halls, libraries and cafes providing visitors with a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of works and engage with their creators from professionals and established artists through to newcomers and prize winners from our ‘Budding Artists’ competition.
