During the summer months, there are frequent events taking place around Weymouth's beach and harbour, which are buzzing at most times but really come to life with crowds of event-goers!
Visitors can take in delicious seafood and champagne at SEAFEAST - The Dorset Seafood Festival or take in some excellent shows at Weymouth Pavilion. Don't forget the excellent Wessex Folk Festival which takes place in and around the harbour and Hope Square. Nothe Fort is delighted to announce that it will be presenting a new exhibition to mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day. The exhibition will open 3rd June 2024.
The exhibition will explore and commemorate the role of Nothe Fort and Weymouth’s residents in the preparations for the D-Day operations of 1944.
