The fantastic real ice skating rink in Bournemouth’s Lower Gardens is a popular attraction at Christmas and will be open from 16th November until 2nd January. The ice rink can be found in the middle of the Gardens at Christmas time and will be open daily throughout the festive period, except Christmas Day.

2017 sees a brand new Christmas Market coming to Bournemouth. The Bournemouth Christmas Market will include a move away from the previous German Market theme to a new Alpine Market, offering boutique and local craft products and food stalls, with a focus on local traders and local suppliers. Included are plans for a traditional family Christmas attraction, alongside entertainment and Christmas activities in the Lower Gardens, which have included in the past the popular ice rink.
