Ben is recognised as one of the UK’s supreme boogie piano players and has worked with The Rolling Stones, Ray Davies, Chuck Berry, Jools Holland, Jerry Lee Lewis, Shakin’ Stevens, Screaming Lord Sutch, PJ Harvey, Amy MacDonald, Bobby Womack, Mick Hucknall, Charlie Watts, The Ronnie Wood Band, Paul Weller, Dave Gilmore, Dave Stewart, The Teenagers, Nine Below Zero… and the list keeps growing!

Chesil Beach Chesil Beach is a stunning 18-mile long shingle bank running between West Bay and Portland. The bank protects the land behind it, without it the sea would be further inland. Interestingly, the pebbles vary in size from pea sized at West Bay to large potato size at Portland. Hardy Monument High on the summit of Blackdown Hill, above the village of Portesham, sits the Hardy Monument. Visitors are forgiven if they assume that the monument is in memory of writer Thomas Hardy, who wrote so many of his books in his native Dorchester.
