Pantomime: Dick Whittington

When? 15 Dec 2018 to 05 Jan 2019
Where? Weymouth

  • Pantomime: Dick Whittington

Made-to-Measure Pantomimes return to the Weymouth Pavilion this Christmas with a brand new production of DICK WHITTINGTON!

The rags-to-riches story tells the tale of a boy from Gloucester who travels all the way to London to make his fortune, believing that the streets there are paved with gold! In actual fact, the streets are covered in rats – there’s an infestation of rodents throughout the city and it’ll be up to Dick and his funny feline friend to save the day and overthrow the Mistress of Misery...the Duchess of the Drains... the almighty villain – Queen Rat!

Starring Weymouth’s Favourite Dame LEE REDWOOD as the hilarious SARAH THE COOK, and GWYNFRYN WEST as her son IDLE JACK!

This year's show also sees the return of YVONNE PATTERSON as QUEEN RAT, after wowing audiences with her powerful vocals last year as the evil CARABOSSE, and cheeky-chappy CHAY LEWANDOWSKI as TOMMY THE CAT!

Locals may also recognise Weymouth’s Own LEWIS ASQUITH, who plays the title role in this year’s festive production.

As always, the Weymouth Pantomime will boast stunning scenery, colourful costumes, toe-tapping songs and laughter by the bucketful – you really won’t want to miss this traditional, yet innovative, brand new family pantomime!
