Join the fun this November when a collection of Madness hits, including House of Fun, Baggy Trousers, Driving in my Car, It Must Be Love and Our House, feature in the Olivier Award Winning Musical, Our House.
This British musical from Tim Firth, the writer of Calendar Girls, is being staged by the celebrated performers of WOW Youth Musical Theatre, who have recently thrilled audiences with their acclaimed productions of ‘Footloose’, ‘Oliver!’ and 'Everybody's Talking About Jamie: Teen Edition'.
Set in 1980s London, Our House follows the story of Joe Casey who, on the night of his 16th Birthday, makes a decision that will change his life. Trying to impress Sarah, the girl of his dreams, he breaks into a building, where things take a turn for the worse as the police turn up. The story then follows the two paths that Joe could take after that night.
The show is directed and choreographed by Martyn Knight, whose previous shows with WOW have included ‘Sister Act’ (2014) and ‘Me and My Girl’ (2017), which won the NODA district achievement award.
Don't miss this unforgettable journey through the vibrant tapestry of youth, love and responsibility set to the iconic tunes of Madness.
