Dorset Village Fairs

Dorset Village Fairs

11 July 2019

Our village fairs pay homage to the rural culture that Dorset is built upon. It’s a way of celebrating Dorset that involves fun for everyone.

Dorset village fairs, fetes and festivals range from large to small, such as the Dorset County Show which has been running for more than 175 years and attracts over 60,000 visitors each year! Then, we have local fairs that celebrates life in the smaller villages such as the Milton Abbas Street Fayre which demonstrates the strength of our communities.

Village fairs involve a range of fun and entertaining things to do including ethical animal shows and contests, locally sourced food and drink markets, rides, activities and much, much more all in one place - there's fun for all ages. Several villages and organisations are hosting these fantastic fairs, fetes and shows in the coming weeks and months, so take a look at what's upcoming.
