A distinctive, traditional, family run pub, with a selection of four real ales. Take a stroll down Poole Quay and discover its oldest watering hole... the Poole Arms (circa 1635) with great views overlooking Poole Quay where you can watch the world go by.
They have great selection of wines, has an exclusively fish and seafood menu. The fish and shellfish are locally sourced and seasonal, but not battered or deep fried. (no chips either) served with seasonal potatoes and fresh vegetables. While home-made fish pies, fish soup and a seafood casserole to die for are available all year round.
The Poole Arms also has a specials board, changing daily, with the catch of the day and is influenced by the seasons, utilising local produce as much as possible.
Fresh mussels, oysters and locally landed crab daily and lobster can be ordered for the next day. We are also in the CAMRA Good beer Guide with 4 permanent real ales and also a guest ale available.
