Rusty & Not So Rusty Musicians Dorset
When? 16 June 2019
Where? Poole
Rusty & Not So Rusty Musicians allows amateur musicians to perform alongside professional musicians from the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. Rusties benefit from specialist coaching during rehearsals, professional instruction from a BSO conductor, and meet like-minded people in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Dorset Rusties is our biggest event of the year, with over 150 musicians plus the full Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra taking to the stage at the Lighthouse, Poole’s Centre for the Arts.
This year the Rusty Musicians are performing Berlioz’s Symphony Fantastique, Mascagni’s beautiful Intermezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana, Smetana’s Vltava and the popular Danse Macabre by Saint Saëns.
