Shaftesbury Oktoberfest

Celebrate the start of autumn in style with quality music from live bands, premium German lagers served in litre steins, drinking games, thigh-slapping, Bavarian bratwursts, pretzels and lots of fun.

Barton Hill Recreation Ground will be transformed into a Bavarian Bierhalle on 11th and 12th October offering an authentic German cultural experience.

​New for 2019 is a gaming area where there will be stein carrying, pretzel and axe throwing. Due to demand there will be three 5-hour sessions: Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening. There will also be a VIP area with dedicated entrance and waitress service.
