Santa's Sensory Grotto - Wimborne
Wimborne
Bring your little ones along for a magical Sensory Grotto experience, specially designed for children aged 3 and under!
This special museum fundraiser will combine sensory play, singing and a visit from Father Christmas for children aged three and under
A special sensory Christmas grotto designed for babies and toddlers up to the age of three is aiming to give local families a calmer way to meet Father Christmas this December.
Santa’s Sensory Grotto will take place at Wimborne’s award-winning Museum of East Dorset at 10am on Wednesday 9 December. Operations Manager Andy Putt said: “The idea is to offer a gentle alternative for young visitors who may find larger-scale Christmas attractions overwhelming.”
The festive session will feature sensory play and singing, followed by an opportunity to meet Father Christmas. Families will be able to take their own photographs and every child will receive a special gift from Santa.
Tickets cost £12 per child, and each child may attend with up to two adults so families can share the experience together.
The event will raise funds for the museum, with all profits supporting its ongoing running costs. Annual passes do not apply.
