Festive Shopping Evening

Join us at the Museum of East Dorset for a wonderfully festive evening and shop local this Christmas. Enjoy a complimentary glass of mulled wine in the Museum Kitchen and sample delicious locally made food and drink as you stroll around our ground floor galleries and museum shop.

Listen to local choirs, Cantilena Voices and Vivamente Voices, sing carols in the garden and browse the stalls of our indoor makers market where you can pick up some unique, hand crafted gifts and meet the local artisans who made them.

Looking for a gift that is a little bit different? Why not book a place on one of our upcoming craft workshops ranging from Silver Clay Jewellery making to Willow Weaving Christmas Decorations.

The museum tea room will be open to purchase refreshments and will be serving warmed mince pies and hot drinks.

Tickets are not timed. Doors open at 5pm and last entry is at 7.30pm for an 8pm finish.
