Queen's Platinum Jubilee Events in Dorset

Celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with us here in Dorset. Dress for the occasion in red white and blue and join in the fun to be had at events right across the county (scroll down for events listings).

Little ones can dress up as princes and princesses and head for Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park where, as well as all the animals to see, there’ll be cream teas to enjoy – just be sure to pre-book!
Fancy a celebratory picnic lunch with sea views? Then book a place at the Platinum Jubilee Lunch being held at Greenhill Tennis Courts, Weymouth, where you’ll be entertained by some of the best local music acts.
Lyme Regis believes in going big or go home – there’s a torchlight procession, Jubilee Picnic, BBC Big Band on the Beach and fabulous Jubilee fireworks display. It’s also the weekend of Jazz Jurassica, an annual event with mind-blowing music.
They certainly know how to party In the New Forest – with Lymington, Fordingbridge and Ringwood each throwing a Jubilee Party in the Park.
On 2nd June more than 2,000 Jubilee beacons will be lit across the UK – Dorchester will be lighting theirs at 9pm at Salisbury Fields; Ringwood at 9.30pm at Market Place; Christchurch (between 5pm and 10pm; Lyme Regis 9.30pm; Bridport, Coneygar Hill 9.45pm; Corfe Castle during evening.
