Seafood & Sounds 2025

Hooked on Seafood & Sounds

Seafood & Sounds Poole is back for 2025 – bigger, tastier, and more tuneful than ever! Taking place Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th September, this festival celebrates Poole’s heritage, flavours, and music, while shining a spotlight on local businesses.
Following last year’s success, the programme is packed with new experiences alongside the favourites everyone loves.
Festival Highlights

The weekend kicks off with a colourful parade on Saturday, featuring Jamie Jigsaw, Pirates of Poole, mermaids, and more. Fancy dress is encouraged, with prizes for the best seafood-themed costumes.
Families can explore the Oyster Trail, enjoy crafts, music, street theatre, storytelling and you can even meet 'Be Enchanted' characters on the Quay.
The food...we havent seen the final menu but with participating restaurants like St Tropez, La Mia's, Nusara Thai, The Guildhall Tavern, Poole Arms (we could go on), we know it will be good. There will be delicious paella, oysters, grilled lobster, sushi etc.
Live music fills the Quay throughout the day, while evening gigs in pubs and restaurants give local talent a chance to shine. Food lovers can sample delicious seafood dishes from nearby eateries, and street performers bring extra colour and energy to the Old Town.

New for 2025
-
A bustling Artisan Market at the renovated Scaplen’s Court, Poole Museum, featuring local crafts, produce and gifts.
-
Fresh fish vendors along the Quay, offering Dorset’s catch to take home.
Whether you love seafood, enjoy live music, or just like soaking up a lively festival atmosphere by the water, Seafood & Sounds 2025 is a weekend not to miss. Come hungry, bring your dancing shoes, and join in the fun as Poole celebrates the very best of its community spirit.
