Half term fun and adventure at RockReef and PierZip on Bournemouth
Pier!

There’s lots to keep all the family entertained on Bournemouth Pier this October
half term. RockReef indoor activity climbing attraction and the PierZip will be
open 7 days a week for family adventures and fun!

From Saturday 26th October, RockReef will have all its indoor activities (except
Pier Cave) open 7 days a week, from 10am until 5:00pm (last session 3:00pm).
The popular attraction includes 28 climbing walls, a HighLine aerial obstacle
course, Vertical Slide, and the Leap of Faith.
Winter prices have now kicked in on the zip wire with prices from just £13pp for
a Dual Ride. PierZip sessions are available to book from 11am until 3pm.

Bournemouth Pier Marketing Manager Sarah Hunter advised, “We’ve put lots of
extra measures in place to ensure customers feel safe when they visit us without
losing the element of fun. We are a Covid-secure venue but this does mean we
have reduced capacities on every session in RockReef and on the PierZip so we
are asking guests to make sure they book in advance. For guests wanting to
experience the fun of all our indoor activities, then our popular Ultimate
Adventure ticket gives you 2 hours of non-stop adventure on all indoor activities,
perfect for keeping active and having fun at the same time!”

Book online & save! If you book in advance, you can show your booking
confirmation for free pier toll entrance. Booking in advance also ensures you
don’t miss out as sessions often sell out during the holidays and have reduced
capacities.

RockReef is an all year, all weather activity attraction located at the end of the Bournemouth Pier.

There is a huge range of amazing activities to suit all ages, from 4 to 94! Inside you will find 28 themed climbing walls, each with challenges to suit beginners through to more experienced climbers. The Stairway to Heaven will test your balance, and a HighLine obstacle course will test your courage. It consists of wooden obstacles suspended 20 feet above the ground. If you make it around the first time, take on the challenge again, this time blindfolded! For the keen explorer, there is Pier Cave with lots of twists and turns and even a hidden ball pit!

You can test your bravery on the Vertical Slide which is sure to get your heart racing as you are pulled to the top and then let go as gravity takes over! The most challenging activity is the leap of faith, you climb a 20ft pole and walk the plank, you then leap from the plank to try and catch a bag suspended in front of you.

For those that just want to watch all the action, there is a lovely café located inside RockReef where you can watch all the activity happening inside or enjoy the beautiful views from outside.

Outside is the awesome PierZip, the first pier to shore zip wire in the world! If you can climb the 60ft tower at the end of the pier, you launch yourself off the platform and zip surf 250 metres over the sea, landing on the beach below. A dual line means you can go two at a time and race each other!

Opening Times: Open 7 days a week but session times vary, check the website before visiting for session times and availability www.rockreef.co.uk.
