Come and join us for a fantastic SEA LIFE adventure both above and below the ocean! Your SEA LIFE adventure will take you on a fascinating journey from the coastline to the depths of the ocean. Discover a magical underwater world filled with a dazzling array of amazing creatures. Every step will reveal something new, from a face-to-face encounter with sharks to a hands-on rockpool experience.

Explore our fantastic 7-acre site by the sea and discover the truth about the much misunderstood shark, the plight of the endangered sea turtle, the remarkable life of the seahorse plus countless surprising facts about these and hundreds of other incredible creatures. Meet comical Penguins and adorable seals.

Conservation - Learn about the amazing creatures that live in and around the sea. Discover what threatens them and how you can help protect them from harm. Find out how SEA LIFE and the SEA LIFE Trust breed many endangered species like rays and seahorses, how they rescue injured and sick turtles and seals, and protect marine habitats and the creatures that live within them. Fancy diving beneath the sea without getting wet? You'll come eyeball to eyeball with everything from shrimps to sharks, and learn tons of great facts from SEA LIFE experts.

Daily talks and feeding demonstrations unravel many mysteries of the deep; and SEA LIFE’s influential environment programme provides every visitor with an opportunity to lend their personal support to important conservation missions. All of this plus enjoy hours of fun in Caribbean Cove, Dorset's greatest outdoor adventure playground new for 2017, and the Splash Zone plus special events throughout the year.

Chesil Beach Chesil Beach is a stunning 18-mile long shingle bank running between West Bay and Portland. The bank protects the land behind it, without it the sea would be further inland. Interestingly, the pebbles vary in size from pea sized at West Bay to large potato size at Portland.
