Dorset Food & Drink Winter Fair 2025

The Dorset Food & Drink Winter Food Fair is back at the beautiful Athelhampton House this November, promising a weekend packed with festive flavours, artisan gifts, and seasonal cheer.

Organisers are busy preparing a cracking line-up of Dorset’s best food, drink, artists, and makers, bringing visitors an unforgettable weekend of festive shopping, gift inspiration, and live music.

Come rain or shine, everyone will receive a warm welcome. With plenty of parking available and most stalls under cover inside the event marquee, visitors can enjoy the fair in comfort whatever the weather.

The fair takes place on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 November, from 10 am to 3 pm at Athelhampton House, a stunning Tudor manor steeped in history and charm. Follow the AA road signs to find this picturesque setting, which also happens to be a photographer’s dream.

Tickets and Booking

Early bird tickets are available now via the Athelhampton House website for Saturday 9 November or Sunday 10 November.
Pre-booking helps organisers estimate attendance so that stallholders can bring plenty of festive goodies for everyone to enjoy.

A limited number of tickets will also be available on the gate during the weekend, although entry cannot be guaranteed without pre-booking.

What to Expect

Shopping small is big for local businesses, and visitors can expect to find unique gifts and flavours from across Dorset. From artisan cheeses and craft ales to seasonal treats, chocolates, wines, and handmade creations, there is something for every taste and budget.

The fair celebrates Dorset’s talented producers and makers, many of whom are multi award-winning, offering visitors the chance to meet the people who make, bake, brew, cook, farm, fish, sew, grow, and craft such a vibrant local scene.

Festive tipples will include wine, cider, beer, spirits, cocktails, and ginger-based cordials and liqueurs. There will also be hot food, coffee, cheese, game, locally reared meats, honey, handmade soaps, candles, preserves, and chutneys.

Visitors can also browse a variety of artisan products including spicy sauces, pies, biscuits, mince pies, jewellery, glass art, photography, art cards, paintings, charcuterie, cakes, Christmas puddings, chef knife sets, seaweed, artisan bread, traditional Dorset bakes, teas, oils, and festive coffee bars.

Accessibility and Facilities

The main part of the Christmas Fair is held inside a large, festive marquee. While the atmosphere is brimming with seasonal cheer, organisers are mindful of accessibility needs. The carpeted marquee surface covers grass, which may present challenges for mobility scooters and wheelchairs; however, assistance will be available where needed.

The Dorset Food & Drink team is committed to ensuring the event is as inclusive and enjoyable as possible, with accessible routes and support available throughout the weekend.
