Fossil Hunt

Where? Lulworth
f you know where and what to look for on our beaches, you’ve a good chance of finding a fossil. This hour-long session begins with a short talk on the fossils of Lulworth. We then walk down to the beach and begin our hunt.
We will find evidence of animal life from millions of years ago, all within a short walk of the Visitor Centre. Please book early as we anticipate the events to sell out very quickly!
Dates: May 27th, 29th, 31st
Time: Dependent on tide – please phone for details.
Meet at: Lulworth Cove Visitor Centre (BH20 5RQ)
Duration: Approximately an hour.
Price: Under 16’s £2.50 | Adults £5
Accessibility: Approximately a 1.5 mile walk on a shingle beach. Not suitable for wheelchair users.
Please Bring: A stout pair of boots or wellies.
