A Festive Family Day Out at Monkey World

This festive season, enjoy a magical family day out at Dorset’s award-winning Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre!

Throughout December, families can enjoy a host of festive activities, including visits to Santa’s Grotto, festive biscuit and gingerbread biscuit house decorating workshops, an Elf on the Shelf photo scavenger hunt and Christmas jumper competitions. New for this year are Twilight Talks, offering a fascinating glimpse into the bedtime routines of the park’s primates.

Alongside the festive fun, visitors can meet more than 240 rescued and rehabilitated monkeys and apes, with every visit helping to fund their care and give them a brighter future. Monkey World is home to Europe’s orangutan crèche, the only woolly monkeys in the UK and the largest group of chimpanzees outside Africa.

Little adventurers can explore the Great Ape Play Area, the largest in southern England, while families can enjoy woodland walks, cafés and free keeper talks.
