Bournemouth Boating Services and Tuckton Tea Gardens are located in Tuckton on the bank of the River Stour which flows into Christchurch Harbour adjoining Hengistbury Head.
River cruises and frequent ferry service between Tuckton Tea Gardens, Wick Ferry, Christchurch Quay and Mudeford Sandbank for the beach and Hengistbury Head. Children half price. Reduced rates for parties. Self Drive Motor Boats and Rowing Boats also for hire at Wick Ferry & Christchurch Quay.
Tuckton Tea Gardens is small café set in beautiful gardens beside the River Stour. The café has stunning views of the river, boats and gardens with a Putting green and Crazy golf course to amuse the children. Come and try one of our 14 flavours of locally made ice cream.
Tuckton Tea Gardens is open every day for eleven months of the year (except Christmas day), closing in January for refurbishment and holidays. We open at 9am in the morning and close, in the winter months at 4.30 and the summer months at 5.30 or later. We sell hot and cold drinks and snacks, light lunches and ice creams
During the summer months we have Barbeque cruises on a Saturday night, consisting of an hours cruise up and down the river followed by a Barbeque in the Tea Gardens.
