Where? Mapperton House and Gardens - Beaminster
On this guided walk with our Ranger Ben Padwick, you will gain an understanding of the rewilding project at Mapperton, including the day-to-day running of Mapperton Wildlands and the changes underway on the estate. You will learn about the recent arrival of a pair of beavers, and hopefully get chance to see our Tamworth pigs and Exmoor ponies. You will also learn about their positive impact of the behaviour of these animals on the ecosystem. Ben will also show you other wildlife activity in the area including footprints and trails.
