The Blandford Yuletide Festival has become an established part of the Christmas Calendar. 2019 is our ninth festival and is planned to be the biggest so far.

PROGRAMME*
4.00pm – Road Closures Begin

5.00pm – Festival Starts – Stalls and Shops Open.

5.30pm – Rendezvous of Primary Schools Lantern Parade at Langton Road Car Park.

6.00pm – Lantern Parade Begins
Led by Father Christmas and will include The Blandford Stour Valley Band. The parade will travel from Langton Road Car Park, Along East Street, up Church Lane into The Plocks, down Salisbury Street, into the Market Place and coming to a halt in front of the Church.

6.20pm – Parade arrives outside the Church
Followed by Communal Carol Singing with the Music Played by The Blandford Stour Valley Brass Band.

6.40pm – End of Carol Singing

6.40pm till 8.30pm – Evening Entertainment around the town.

8.30pm – Fireworks

9.00pm – Festival Ends

10.00pm – Roads Re-open

Decibelles – The Winterborne Kingston Ladies Church Choir (Leading the Carol Singing)
