The Bournemouth Reggae Weekender is a Not-For-Profit event organized by Afro*Disiac Live Radio a Non- Profit Community Interest business based in Bournemouth with a sincere wish to provide a diverse cultural enrichment to our community in Bournemouth and beyond. This is 1st Reggae in Park event in Bournemouth, a unique occasion to celebrate the diverse African-Caribbean Culture and Reggae music adding to the thread that weaves the cloth of “togetherness and diversity” in Bournemouth.
Held in Kings Park with ease of access for first-class entertainment within the catchment. Bournemouth weekender will concentrate its efforts on positive developments within the community and be another avenue to encourage tourism in Bournemouth.
On this weekend Kings Park will come alive to promote unity and togetherness under the banner of Reggae Music. We will have a funfair and live kids shows to get everyone involved.
The event will host an array of artisan traders; craft stands and caterers in keeping with the African-Caribbean culture. Over 30 mixed stalls, delectable delights to tempt everyone.
All weekender tickets are Inclusive of complimentary free travel provided by our Travel partners Yellow Buses. More info on shuttle times will be published on all our socials.
The organizers have added Friday 30th July 2021 to the event schedule to exclusively host NHS Frontline heroes in line with NHS Frontline day 5th July 2021. All-day proceeds will go to Hospitals Dorset NHS Charity and The National Care Association.
