Highcliffe Charity Players present “Cats”
When? 30 Oct 2019 to 02 Nov 2019
Where? Christchurch
Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cats is a magical musical like no other – a magnificent all-singing, all-dancing spectacular with inspired choreography, mischievous costumes and a superb score that includes the unforgettable ‘Memory’.
Based on T.S. Eliot’s whimsical collection of poems, ‘Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats’, it brings together a tribe of Jellicle Cats on a moonlit evening, who must make the ‘Jellicle choice’ to decide which of them will ascend to the mysterious Heaviside Layer to be reborn.
Since it first burst onto the West End stage in 1981 with its ground-breaking, sparkling fusion of music, dance and verse, Cats has become one of the world’s best known and best loved musicals. It’s the cat’s whiskers, don’t miss it!
An amateur production by arrangement with The Musical Company Ltd.
Venue: Regent Centre
Tickets: £16, Concessions £15 (incl. our 50p Development Fee)
