The Frosty 5K

When? 15 December 2019
Where? Dorchester

  • The Frosty 5K

If you enjoyed Weldmar’s Colour Run and Bubble Rush in the summer, then you will love our new family event this Christmas! Get everyone together for a day of frosty fun as you run, jog, hop or dance your way around the most festive 5k you’ll ever do!

After your warm up you’ll set off on a snowy start before passing through 4 exciting themed zones!

Fog – a tunnel with plumes of ‘icy’ fog coming from the floor

Fire – a cosy fire tunnel with the sounds and smell of a real crackling fireplace!

Snow – a corridor of inflatable waving snowmen to greet you on your way

Ice – a huge inflatable igloo filled with magical lights

All participants will receive a medal on the day, and we’d love to see as many people as possible in Christmas jumpers and fancy dress!

Race starts at 11am.

There is no minimum sponsorship requirement for this event however we do ask that participants do their best to raise what they can in aid of Weldmar Hospicecare so we can continue to provide our outstanding end of life care throughout Dorset

Venue: The Great Field
1 Peverell Ave East, Poundbury, Dorchester.
