Summer Music Series: FB Pocket Orchestra
When? 06 August 2022
Where? Dorchester
The FB Pocket Orchestra join Sculpture by the Lakes for the fifth evening in our Summer Series. They bring with them a new departure- a musical journey around the world. In a world where being green means less travel, let the Pocket Orchestra bear the brunt of your carbon footprint as we travel from London to Lisbon, from Paris to Peking and from Ulster to Ulaanbaattar.
New tunes and new instruments and new sounds but the same three familiar faces await you so join Paul, Ollie and Jenny for an exciting, entertaining and environmentally friendly global circumnavigation, all in the inspiring surrounding of our sculpture park.
When it comes to food, choose from a sumptuous selection of wood fired dining, food from the new Outdoor Kitchen or, if you wish, bring your own picnic. As you saunter around the park tonight, you may meet another explorer- watch out for his unicycle!
We do have several tables and chairs, but you can bring your own low backed chairs, rugs and a cushion. Please make sure that any chairs and/or umbrellas will not obscure anyone else’s view.
Arrive at 6.00pm – Pick a great spot and enjoy the atmospheric surroundings, explore the sculpture park and order a drink from the bar before the music starts at 7.00pm.
We have a well-stocked bar, and the new Outdoor Kitchen will be cooking up a storm, preparing delicious food cooked over fire!
Tickets £30 for each performance
Doors open 18.00
Performances start at 19.00
