Dorset Sunflower Trail

Welcome to the Dorset Sunflower Trail at Maiden Castle Farm, Dorchester
Join us this summer for an uplifting outdoor family experience at the Dorset Sunflower Trail as we raise funds for Dorset County Hospital Charity’s Emergency and Critical Care Appeal.

Our 20-acre trail has been planted just in time for the summer holidays.
Sunflowers symbolise abundance, harvest, and health. Our trails and activities have been loved by thousands of visitors over the last five years.

The shorter sunflower trail (around 10 minutes) is accessible for prams, pushchairs and wheelchairs (weather permitting), but please note that it is an earth track with some stones, so is not perfectly flat.
The longer sunflower trail takes about 30 minutes and is ideal if you want to really stretch your legs and see as many sunflowers as possible!
