Step back in time this summer! Visit Beaulieu from 20th July - 1st September to see characters and cars from the past spring into action. Plus there's a touch of magic in the air... Chitty Chitty Bang Bang has come to Beaulieu!
From medieval monks to Victorian butlers... delve into over 800 years of history as you chat to costumed characters, get hands-on with traditional games and see historic motors in action.
Plus, don't miss Chitty Chitty Bang Bang 50 Years, our fantasmagorical new exhibition celebrating the 50th anniversary of the family-favourite film.
See daily parades of vehicles spanning motoring history - featuring Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Meet Lord Montagu's falconer and watch amazing falconry displays. Don't forget to visit the Abbot's Mews exhibition in Beaulieu Abbey to learn more about the history of these magnificent birds.
See history come to life as costumed actors perform playlets with motoring marvels such as the 1904 De Dion Bouton and 1924 12/4 'Gumdrop'.
Escape from the pressures of modern life and enjoy some good old-fashioned fun with Victorian games and puzzles on the lawns of Palace House.
There will be lots of interesting historical characters to meet on site! Will you be able to collect all their character cards?
Visit Beaulieu Abbey to chat to the costumed monk. You can even try on a habit for a selfie photo opportunity!
On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout August, get hands-on with creative workshops in the National Motor Museum.
