Pagoda Project

When? 07 November 2019
Where? Shaftesbury

  • Pagoda Project

Springhead is delighted to be hosting the Pagoda Project, a unique musical collaboration described as an intriguing crossover between contemporary folk, jazz and chamber music. Acclaimed accordionist Paul Hutchinson and clarinetist Karen Wimhurst will be playing tracks from their new album coming out in January 2020.

Paul, also known for Belshazzars Feast, and Karen, previously a member of the Cauld Blast Orchestra, have a wealth of musical experience in a diverse range of genres from classical to folk. Both are talented composers, educators and performers and are highly regarded musicians in their own right.

‘The music is beautiful and measured, a real pleasure to settle in and get familiar with…music of calm and balm bringing a measure if sympathy and healing to a strange and deadly world’ – Tim Cumming in SONGLINES

Cost of tickets is £10 for adults and £8 for under 18s and Friends of Springhead.

The Springhead is situated in Fontmell Magna, near Shaftesbury.
