Brand new for this October half term, Swanage Railway transforms into a world of Halloween magic. Step aboard our Ghost Train for a fun-filled journey of gentle chills, big smiles, and unforgettable memories - perfect for the whole family.

What to Expect

Family-friendly spooky fun - theatrical, magical, and full of surprises.
Board our beautifully decorated heritage steam train at Norden Station.
Meet our friendly witch, who’ll weave spine-tingling stories as you travel.
Spot ghostly surprises and glowing pumpkins along the route.
Dress up in your favourite Halloween costume - grown-ups too!
Seasonal treats available before you board.


Family-Friendly Frights
The Ghost Train is designed for all ages. Younger passengers will love the costumes and decorations, while older children can enjoy the immersive Halloween atmosphere. Adults can sit back, relax, and watch the magic unfold.

Dates, Times & Prices
Dates: Saturday 25 October - Sunday 2 November 2025
Times: 12:45, 14:15, 15:45, 17:15 (start and end at Norden Station, journey lasts approximately 1 hour)
Prices: £22 adult, £15 child (under 3s travel free), carers accompanying less abled passengers are permitted to travel free.
