VE Day Livestream by Tank Museum

The Tank Museum & World of Tanks are to host a special historical livestream to mark 80 years since the end of World War Two in Europe.

With VE Day commemoration events taking place across the western world, this live stream will examine how the tank came of age in what remains history’s most destructive conflict.

Live on 10 May from 1600 BST on The Tank Museum YouTube channel, hosts Richard Cutland and Nik Wyness will chart the evolution of the tank in World War Two.

They’ll be joined by special guests to examine the contributions of Britain, France, Italy, Germany, the US and the Soviet Union to tank development during the conflict as they share a raft of historical insights!
