NEW EXHIBITION West Bay – A Resort to Rival Others.
In 1883 a group of local businessmen believed with the right investment and imagination West Bay could rival Weymouth or Bournemouth. Walking around the harbour of West Bay more than a century later apart from the iconic Pier Terrace there are few signs of the amazing buildings that could have been built. So, what happened to West Bay's dreams of tourism grandeur? Find out more by visiting West Bay Discovery Centre Suitable for all ages. Admission Free, Donations welcome. We are open Tuesday - Sunday from 11am -4pm.
