A fabulous weekend of maritime experiences around Weymouth Harbour. This free festival celebrates our maritime heritage with sailing, diving, crafts, seafood and shanty music.
Come and experience some of the most fantastic ships in the world. Admire Le Marite, the last 3-masted Newfoundland Schooner, built in 1923. Marvel at the TS Pelican of London, Weymouth’s very own tall ship. Discover the Excelsior built in 1921, which is now a fully restored traditional fishing smack. And be amazed by the sophistication of the P2000 Navy training vessel, a state-of-the-art Archer Class patrol boat providing high-quality sea training for undergraduates. Step aboard the Gipsy Moth IV that Sir Francis Chichester commissioned specifically to sail single-handed around the globe!
