A fabulous weekend of seafood, delicious English Sparkling Wines from Nyetimber, celebrity chefs and a great atmosphere around Weymouth harbour.

The Nyetimber Dorset Seafood Festival brings together sparkling wine and seafood, family entertainment and a great opportunity to gain a better understanding of the superb seafood available to us just off our wonderful shores.

Taste fresh seafood dishes from nearly 100 stalls around the beautiful harbour, or simply relax with a bottle of chilled sparkling wine.

Be entertained by national chefs as well as our much loved local seafood heroes.

Join in with hands-on sessions, learn about underutilised species, bring the family to try new experiences and find out why we should all be eating more seafood.

Whether you’re just happy to wander, sampling and enjoying great food and local produce, sipping Nyetimber Sparkling Wine whilst watching the boats go by, or whether you’d prefer to listen to seafood experts debate the future of our seas, there is something for everyone.

With the emphasis on responsibly sourced seafood from the region where possible, the Nyetimber Dorset Seafood Festival helps raise money for the Fishermen’s Mission charity.

We step into the New Year with a fresh vision of exciting things to come. Whatever you’re ... Read more...

Whether you’re a cling-to-the-side kind of skater or have a Torville and Dean style, ice skating is a fab activity for all and a great way to get together with friends and family to have ... Dorset Beaches Dorset is surrounded by an 88-mile stretch of quite remarkable coastline. One of the pleasures of visiting (or living in) Dorset is that you’re never too far away from the beach – whichever beach that may be, because there’s plenty! And by plenty, we mean loads! There are the major beaches such as the award-winning Bournemouth Beach and Weymouth Beach, along with the many smaller beaches such as Church Ope Cove. Take a look at some of many: Chesil ...
