Weymouth BID has joined forces with the Weymouth Garrison and Nothe Fort to promote a weekend of Family Pirate Fun. The weekend will bring together local re-enactment groups for the 3rd Weymouth Pirate Festival, led by the Dorset Buccaneers. The Festival is planned to be the biggest and best yet and raises much needed funding for the restoration and upkeep of Weymouth’s Old Town Hall, which, has had its own fair share of Pirate experiences in times gone by.
3rd - The Dolmen at the Golden Lion in Weymouth
4th - "Scallywag Saturday"
Start date of the FREE children's Pirate Treasure Trail which will run until the 12th April (will be available online or at 15 St Alban Street)
2.00pm - Pirate Hat Competition by the Pelican on Weymouth Harbourside; create a pirate themed hat to be in with the chance!
2.30pm - Skirmish on Weymouth beach of Pirate vs Redcoats
The Dolmen will also play at Wyke Smugglers
5th - Princess & Pirate Day at the Nothe Fort
