Halloween Family Fun Day

When? 29 October 2019
Where? Nothe Fort - Weymouth

  • Halloween Family Fun Day

Halloween at the Nothe Fort with a Family Fun day for little ones. This year we are doing our Magic Show, Story Telling, Ghost Tours, Face Painting, Craft Making, and much more.

This event will not be to scary, however there will be ghost passage tours and stories with the return of Wanda Witchway who will be flying in to perform her special Spookyloopy Magic Show where there'll be lots of Halloween tricks and treats and silly scary fun for boils and ghouls of all ages. You might even get to become a witch's apprentice too!'

There will also be Halloween children’s crafts, ghost walks, fancy dress competition, spell writing and face painting. We have pumpkin carving and a trick or treat trail. There will be craft stalls and even a Fire Walk in the evening for those brave people who dare. This needs to be organised in advance for any participants who wish to partake.

The Fort View Café will be open for some spooky treats and of course there are all the underground passages to explore. You might even find a coffin!

Normal Entry Prices and Annual Passes Accepted.

From 4.30pm to 8pm we are working in partnership with Weldmar Hospice who will be putting on extra brave activities.

Weldmar’s Firewalk will be the most memorable journey you will ever undertake. Just as the name suggests this is a bare foot walk over red-hot wood embers measuring around 1200 degrees Fahrenheit! There are no tricks and no special effects. It’s just you and the fire! Some describe the sensation as walking on eggshells others as walking on hot sand. Each walker has their own experience.l

Alongside the Firewalk there is an evening of Halloween fun, including a trick or treat trail, slime making, face painting, and other family activities, so why not make an evening of it, at the spooky Nothe Forte in Weymouth. The event will run from 16:30 until 20:00 with the Firewalk beginning at 18:00.
