The Bincombe Bolt

Where? Weymouth

  • The Bincombe Bolt

Do you have what it takes?

The Bincombe Bolt promises to be a fun and fast event - come on your own or compete with friends. Who will be crowned the King or Queen of The Bincombe Bolt?

The madcap village challenge is in aid of Breast Cancer and Cancer Research.
The race is a mere 0.8 mile dash around track and fell, ending with a crazy climb of 28% to the finish line.

Can you start fast and finish strong? Have you got the grit to leg it around the bumpy short course and make it up the hill more than once?

Starting at the finish, the route takes on a choppy descent followed by a relatively flat dash along the track before you scramble up the brutal ascent.

Win a place in your heat and go through to the decider, where you will race once more to become King or Queen of the Bincombe bolt.

Food and drink served on site.

Entry fee
£20 – all profits split between Cancer Research UK and Breast Cancer UK

The winners will get a t-shirt, a medal, and a either a whole filet of beef or a truckle of cheddar.

Date & Time
30th May 2021 – start at 12 noon
