Early Years..
Born on 28th May 1990, Nathan Carter spent his childhood years in Liverpool, England. He had strong Irish influences from the very start since his family roots were in Newry, Co. Down.

From his earliest years it was obvious Nathan was a boy born to perform. At the tender age of four, he learned to play the piano accordion. He was also a gifted singer. In a few short years he had become head chorister in The Liverpool Boys’ Choir.

The Young Musician..

He became a consummate performer making trips to Ireland to compete in music competitions (known as a Fleadh Cheoil). These became a regular feature of Nathan`s life during his teenage years. He won All-Ireland medals for solo singing and piano accordion when he was just 12 years old.

His love of traditional Irish music led to Nathan becoming a member of the Liverpool Ceili band, playing piano and piano accordion.

It was a natural progression for this gifted performer to develop a thriving solo career around Liverpool, London and eventually further afield in Ireland.

Pursuing A Dream..

Success led to Nathan moving to Ireland to follow his dream of becoming a professional entertainer in January 2010. His career took off almost immediately. Single-handedly he revived the live music scene in Ireland attracting young fans in their thousands.

Following the phenomenal success of the iconic hit song ‘Wagon Wheel’ in 2012, Nathan became an established star in Ireland, outselling One Direction and Drake

Number 1 Albums..
Nathan has recorded six number one albums in Ireland and has had a top 20 UK album release with the CD `Beautiful Life’.
Nathan’s latest album ‘The Morning After ’ released in November 2022 went straight to Number One in the Irish Album Charts !
Songwriting Talent..
The top selling album includes the self-penned original single ` The Morning After` https:www.youtube.comwatch?v=tio0mi5j3c0

As well as being a leading performer and vocalist, Nathan has been busy honing his craft as a songwriter and this is just one of the many hit songs he has penned .

Television Series..
Nathan hosted his own TV series `The Nathan Carter Show` on RTE Television Ireland. This hugely popular series of one-hour shows had a roster of international guest-stars including Mel C, Billy Ocean, Paul Carrick, Martine McCutcheon, Curtis Stigers, The Shires, Ward Thomas, Una Healy, Shane Filan, Mark Feehily and many more.

Major Performances..
One of Nathan’s greatest accolades was when he was invited to sing for Pope Francis during his visit to Ireland in 2018. There were 60,000 people gathered for a welcoming ceremony in Croke Park Dublin. The event was televised worldwide with millions tuning in to watch.

In fact, Nathan, at the age of 11, had already performed for The Pope when he was on a trip to Rome as head chorister with The Liverpool Boys Choir. Singing for Popes is second nature for this humble star now.

In a few short years, Nathan Carter has established himself as one of the most popular and best all-round entertainers in Ireland packing the biggest venues available including the 3 Arena in Dublin and the SSE Arena in Belfast.
