Explore Science and Inventions at the Nothe Fort in celebration of British Science Week!
Join us in celebrating British Science Week as Nothe Fort will be hosting a fun and immersive Science Weekend, full of activities and demonstrations for all the family to enjoy.

Saturday 8th March
“Fantastic Forces at the Fort” – by Fun Science Dorset
Demonstrations at 11:00am, 12:00pm, 1:30pm & 2:30pm
Featuring fun science activity tables and outdoor demonstrations.
Bookable at the Shop Desk on arrival.

“The Science of Scent – Smells of the Fort” – by Liam Findlay of AromaPrime
Demonstrations at: 10:45am, 11:45am, 12:45pm, 1:45pm, 2:45pm
Learn how we can recreate the scents of the past and smell the history of the Fort. Liam is also a local author and will have copies of his children’s books available to buy. Bookable at the Shop Desk on arrival.

“Special Operations Executive Sciences” – by John the Mad Scientist

Featuring talks and demonstrations on Explosives, Lockpicking, Self-defence and more.
