Where? Wimborne

  • Spring-themed Crafty Fun at Kingston Lacy

Head to the craft station in the laundry from 10am to 3pm and have a go at creating your own pinwheel from paper. Why not take your completed pinwheel outside and watch the wind make it spin. This activity is a drop in session so there is no need to book.

Also: Family Nature Trail 10am to 4pm

If you like to venture off the beaten track then our family nature trail could be for you. Explore the depths of the Kingston Lacy parkland on the Woodland Walk. There will be plenty of opportunities for the whole family to relax and discover nature with our Nature Bingo activity sheet and different activity stops along the trail. Don’t forget to pack a picnic as there are plenty of places to stop to recharge whilst taking in some stunning views of the house and parkland.

The Woodland Walk which is 1.5 miles (30 minutes – 1 hour) and accessible by foot, bike, buggy and adapted wheelchair. If you fancy venturing further afield then you can take a longer route: the Woodland Trail which is 3 miles long (1.5 – 2 hours).

The trail is dog friendly but we do ask you to keep your four legged friend on a short lead at all times.
