Back in 2007, animal lover, Cormac Lineham, turned his passion into a profession by opening his own independent, specialist pet shop — and now, 18 years later, The Pet Experience is still going strong and thriving in Weymouth. That kind of dedication certainly deserves a round of applause!
A lifelong animal enthusiast and pet owner himself, Cormac saw the need for a pet shop that offered not only quality products but also expert advice and friendly, personalised service. So, he took the leap and opened a store with a clear mission: to provide pet owners with everything they need, supported by a knowledgeable and caring team.
The shop quickly gained popularity, doubling in size within just two years. Fast forward to 2025, and The Pet Experience offers an impressive range of products for all kinds of pets — big and small.
At the heart of the business is a focus on both pets and their people. Whether you're searching for the perfect harness for your dog or the ideal diet for your sensitive cat, his expertly trained staff are ready to offer advice and support for all domestic pets.
To offer even more value and quality, The Pet Experience launched two of its own pet food brands: Easterbrooks (a super-hypoallergenic formula) and Teepee Grain Free. These ranges have grown to become some of the most popular choices in the store — and are now available for nationwide delivery through their online shop.
