Where? Bournemouth

  • Bournemouth Christmas Tree Wonderland
  • Bournemouth Christmas Tree Wonderland

Bournemouth is set to be lit up by more than 100 festive-themed illuminations this winter. The Christmas Tree Wonderland includes a 60ft feature tree with a trail taking visitors across the town. Lighting features include the 10m Changing Tree of Light, a cascading waterfall, giant reindeer, gingerbread people, polar bears, a giant bauble and trees representing cities from around the world.

Visitors are led from the Lansdowne precinct to the Triangle, and at the centre is an open-air alpine village experience at the square, into the Victorian lower gardens and onto the seafront where, new to this year, there will be sleigh rides, a carousel, ice-skating and more. The Square will feature a traditional Christmas market selling all manner of delicious hot beverages, yuletide treats and festive trinkets. The popular alpine bar, complete with igloo domes for private bookings and the Skate ice rink are all making a welcome return back to the Bournemouth this year.
