"Nothing says summertime quite like sunflowers! Their large, bright, unmistakable flowers are believed to signify bountiful and abundant harvest as well as good health!

We are excited to offer you a colourful and uplifting, outdoor family fun experience again this summer!

Get up close and personal with our beautiful sunflowers, take a relaxing and meandering stroll through the winding trails, cut in the acres of sunflowers, planted on the outskirts of Dorchester. Due to reach their perfection in time for the summer holidays - although this does depend on Mother Nature so we will confirm opening details nearer the time. Keep an eye on our social media channels.

The theme of the trail this year is our beloved British Bees. You can navigate through the twists and turns of the Bee shape while enjoying watching our special pollinators hard at work. Alternatively take a leisurely stroll down our shorter trail, created with accessibility in mind. This really is an attraction for every one of all ages.

Enjoy a drink and a cake from our 'Café on Wheels', or bring a picnic and enjoy dining alfresco.

You could even sample the exclusive home grown sausage rolls or veggie “wellies” if you like to eat locally produced food.

Enjoy the day with your family…. making memories the old fashioned way, come and celebrate life with us this summer.
There will also be opportunities for sundowner sessions, yoga and pilates set amidst the sunflowers.

For the 2023 Trail, half of the profits from the Sunflower Trail will be donated to Charity. This year the main charity is the Special Care Baby Unit in Dorset County Hospital.
