LEAF Open Farm Sunday, managed by LEAF (Linking Environment And Farming), is one of the farming industry’s biggest success stories. Since the first Open Farm Sunday in 2006, over 1500 farmers across the UK have opened their gates and welcomed 1.8 million people onto their farm for one Sunday each year.
Come and visit us at Church Farm from 10am to 4pm and meet our 140 British Friesian dairy cow herd. Learn all about dairy farming!
We will have farm tours, following the milk from the cow to the bottle. Lots of games for children, a nature trail, and lots of animals to meet. BBQ, tea and home made cakes available.
We are also starting to sell our own milk straight off the farm, come and meet us and find out more about our whole, non-homogenised milk!

A Drop of Snow to Herald Spring

Whilst meteorological spring doesn’t start until 1st March this year, the first sight of snowdrops, which bravely push their way up through the cold ground in January and February, can certainly put a spring in our step!
