There is free admission to this year’s Garden of Delights at Springhead – a chance to escape the High Street and do some local Christmas shopping in beautiful surroundings.
Stalls will be set up in the Mill House, where local craftspeople and artists will be selling a wide range of goods from jewellery and ceramics to framed garden ornaments, cards, glassware and prints. Once you’ve browsed the stalls for Christmas gifts you will also have the chance to enjoy refreshments, cakes and light lunches in the café, and to explore Springhead’s gardens (weather permitting).
The Springhead Trust is situated in Fontmell Magna, near Shaftesbury.

A Drop of Snow to Herald Spring

Whilst meteorological spring doesn’t start until 1st March this year, the first sight of snowdrops, which bravely push their way up through the cold ground in January and February, can certainly put a spring in our step!
