A visit to the award-winning Dorset Seafood Festival - offers an amazing opportunity to gain a better understanding of the superb seafood available to us just off our wonderful shores.

Offering delicious seafood, quality wines and local ales, as well as family entertainment, here’s a snapshot of what to expect:

- Taste fresh seafood dishes from a great selection of stalls, or simply relax with a bottle of wine or local beers.

- Be entertained by talented chefs as well as by much-loved local seafood heroes. Learn about underutilised species, bring the family to try new experiences and find out why we should all be eating more seafood.

- Enjoy live acoustic music from talented local acts.

- Fun activities for kids.

- Learn about ocean health

Whether you’re just happy to wander, sampling and enjoying great food and local produce, or whether you’d prefer to listen to seafood experts debate the future of our seas, there is something for everyone.

With the emphasis on responsibly-sourced seafood from the region where possible, the Festival helps raise money for the Fishermen’s Mission charity.
