Weymouth's Elf Street Party and Christmas Lights

Weymouth is once again hosting its Elf Extravaganza for the 2023 lights switch on!
Weymouth will be filled with elf-themed festivities from hat-making and gingerbread decorating. Not forgetting Weymouth's Elf Street Party and Parade – don your elf fancy dress and come along to take part.
With a main stage of entertainment throughout the afternoon, street performers and a host of shops and eateries all joining in the fun, it's the perfect festive family day out.
At 5pm the town's Christmas lights will officially be switched on from the main stage in New Bond Street, shops will offer late night shopping and you can get into the festive spirit and experience Weymouth's wide variety of pubs and clubs.
Parking in selected Dorset Council Car Parks will be free on 25 November. Car parks are expected to busier than usual, and we encourage to you walk, cycle or use public transport where possible.
- 10am Movie Screening at Cineworld - TBC.
- 10am until 4pm - Elf Craft Workshops throughout the town.
- 11:30am - Elf Parade.
- 10am until 4pm - Elf Letter Writing Workshops at Cineworld.
- 12pm until 6pm - Stage Entertainment at New Bond Street.
- 5pm - Christmas Lights Switch On.
