Weymouth's Dinosaur week is an exciting celebration of family fun themed around prehistoric life!

We Are Weymouth host ‘Chase the Dinosaur’ event, as part of 'Dino Week' raising funds for the Will Mackaness Trust and kicking off the February half term in true Jurassic style.

Race Options:
5km Run: Pavilion end of Weymouth Beach to the stones at Greenhill and back (for adults).
2km Run: Pavilion end to the Pier Bandstand and back (for under 16s).
1km Run: Pavilion to the Beach Office and back (for under 11s).
Preschooler Race: A short dash from the sand sculptures to the Pavilion.
This family-friendly event invites participants to don their favourite dinosaur costumes and join in the fun along Weymouth’s iconic coastline.
