Bournemouth Writing Festival
When? 24 Apr 2026 to 26 Apr 2026
Where? Bournemouth
Writing is hard, isn't it? It's also incredibly lonely.
Sometimes, you can sit for hours behind a blinking cursor on a blank page, or get lost in the myriad of editing, or just don't know where to turn for marketing help or finding the right agent. Procrastination is our enemy.
That's where the Bournemouth Writing Festival comes in. Through community-led events and activities, we help you on your journey, provide cheerleading and encouragement and access to writing professionals and content to make sure you get to the end of whatever you are writing.
From complete beginners not even knowing where to start to published pros looking to get their next novel out there (and everything in between), we want to support you to get YOUR words out of your head and on to the page - regardless of your age, ability or background.
Our 3-day festival in April brings free and ticketed events and activities across a whole plethora of genres, topics and subjects for all levels of writers.
