Inside Out Dorset: Furious Folly

When? 20 Sep 2018 to 21 Sep 2018
Where? Weymouth

  • Inside Out Dorset: Furious Folly

Spectacular, mainly free open-air entertainment for all the family. Inside Out Dorset takes place at various sites from 14th to 22nd September.

An unmissable night-time performance in collaboration with 14 – 18 NOW.

As night falls in no-mans-land a battlefront is drawn between the two lines. Disorientated, you suddenly find yourself immersed within an open-air collage of sound, light, pyrotechnics and performance. Railing against the futility of the Great War and the madness of the battlefield, Furious Folly challenges the inhumanity and senselessness of conflicts past and present.

The audience is invited to gather from 7pm at Mouth Pleasant Park + Ride, Weymouth (DT3 5BJ) for a prompt 7.30pm start to the performance when they will be guided into to the performance arena.

Tickets for the event must be booked in advance. Parental discretion is advised for under 14s, and no under 18s will be permitted without an accompanying adult. Latecomers are not guaranteed admission. This is an outdoor performance that takes place on grass and is standing room only. Please come prepared for all weather conditions. The performance features strobe lighting, pyrotechnics and smoke effects.
